The Producers
The Producers is not like any other movie you'll see in this day in age. It's (gasp) a musical! Yes, it's a musical with full dance numbers. And it's great. It's refreshing to see something new even though, it is (sigh) another remake. It is so outrageous that can't not be written by Mel Brooks. I mean really "Springtime for Hitler"! Wow, genius. The story is about a Brodway producer Max Bialystock (sp?)(Nathan Lane) and his accountant
Leo Bloom (Matthew Broderick). They find out that in theory one could make more money putting on a flop than a hit. So they go on a mission to find the worst play, the worst director, and the worst actors to put on the worst Brodway performance of all time. They stumble accross a play called 'Springtime for Hitler' and the hilarity ensues. And the addition of Will Ferrell as the leiderhosen clad former Nazi playwriter Franz Liebkind just makes it all that funnier. The acting is extreamly over the top but then again it is that way in all most musicals. I highly enjoyed it though. Most of the humor is slapstick but it's pretty witty too. It also features 'Beautiful Girls Wearing Nothing But Pearls' and Uma Thurman in a scantly clad dress (see above). That all adds to the final result which is.

Yesterday my brother-in-law, Senior Airman Matthew Medsger was transfered from Manis Airbase, Kyrgyzstan to Bagram Airbase in Bagram Afghanistan. This sucks because Matt won't have as much time to call and he'll be on alot of fly away missions to neighboring cities like the capital, Kabul. It's much more dangerous there than in Kyrgyzstan. Apparently there's alot more combat. He told me landmines explode all over the place and shit blows up all the time. Only two months left out of six till he gets back. But this is making me, and my sister (duh) really nervous. I really hope he never gets deployed again. He made a holiday greeting video for my sister and it's out on the internet. It can be found HERE

Johnney Fucking Damon
Johnny Damon is officially the biggest douche bag on this planet. The Red Sox offered him a 4 year $40 million contract (10 million per year). The Yankees offered him a 4 year $52 Million contract (13 million per year). Those 3 million per year he never would have noticed wasnt there if it was taken away. Oh, so now he can have gold plated toilet seats rather than the silver plated ones he would have been forced to have if he had signed with the Red Sox. You may say 'Michael, 3 million dollars per year is a ton of money'. Well not if ur making 10 addition million per year! Johnny Damon is an asshole, and this all goes to show that he was never truly part of the Red Sox. He was just playing for the money and that's all that matters to him.
p.s. Now that he's a Yankee, hes not allowed to have long or facial hair. Why? Cuz it's a rule in the yankee organization. It all adds to show how fucking gay the Yankees are. Say goodbye to the Jesus look and all of Damon for that matter.

KING KONG
King Kong is not your average movie remake. Everything about this movie is incredible. I was absolutly blown away. The fight scene between Kong and the multible T-Rex's was the best fight scene I've seen since the Matrix. The special effects were amazing. Many kudos to Peter Jackson and the special effects crew . Much of Naomi Watts' acting was either screeming or looking bewildered, but she did it very well. Jack Black's presence alone brought humor to this action adventure. The scenes with Kong and Watts were emotionally compelling. The natives of the Island were really freeky. With the first little girl and Naomi Watts, it was like the Ring all over again. But for some reason the natives kinda disappeared after Watts was taken by Kong. The only part I would have changed was I would show how they got Kong on the ship and back to New York. But the scenes in New York that followed made me completely forget about that. The Empire State Building sequence was mind blowing. Extreamly Impressive. This is most likely the best movie I've seen this year. The eighth wonder of the world is truely wonderous. It was beauty that killed the beast....
